The graph below shows Population Growth Rate from 2007 to 2014Ans: The graph illustrates the gradual increase of the Internet users in Bangladesh over a period ranging from 2000 to 2012. In 2000, the first year of the survey period shows that 0.31 crore people used the Internet whereas in 2002 the number rose to 1.5 crore. This number was almost 5 times more than that of 2000.

The number of the Internet users remarkably rose to 2.43 crore and 3 crore in 2003 and 2005 respectively. In the whole survey, the greatest increase is noticed in the number of the Internet users between 2005 and 2007 escalating from 3.00 crore to 5.00 crore. In 2009, 5.56 crore people used the Internet which eventually rose to 6.14 crore in 2012.

The tendency of using the Internet gradually increased over the years keeping pace with the demand of the modern age. The survey indicates a significant change in the field of Internet use in Bangladesh as it witnessed a gradual increase over a period of 12 years.
